Holiday
Originally named after a post office substation located on a local street bearing its name, Holiday was established as a community in the late 1960s. Located on the central Gulf Coast of Florida in Pasco County, between New Port Richey and Tarpon Springs, the area is generally considered to be off the beaten path but is conveniently located close to the Gulf coast, winding rivers and wetlands, eco-tours, historic museums, antique shopping, small town festivals and more. Local residents enjoy activities like canoeing down the Pithlachascotee River and swimming, scuba diving, and snorkeling in the waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Holiday is also located less than two hours away from Orlando’s theme parks.
